Me han pasado este modelo de queja para enviar a la editora de 20 Minutos, el grupo noruego Schibsted, protestando por la publicación del repugnante artículo del juez Carlos Fanlo, donde lamentaba que la banda terrorista Terra Lliure no hubiera disparado al corazón de Jiménez Losantos. I have read amazedly and with extreme repugnance in the diary that your company edits in Barcelona, "20 minutos ", a column written by Carlos Fanlo, on November 15, in which the author, on a clear form and without margin to erroneous interpretation, encourages to the murder of a journalist, D Federico Jiménez Losantos, for expressing democratically his opinions.
The extreme gravity of this fact, forces me to put it in your knowledge.
Likewise, I request as reader, an immediate explanation on the position of your company over this manifestly fascist attitude, demanding the immediate reproof of the author, his expulsion of the diary, as well as public excuses to your readers, whom I understand, waits from a mass media like your newspaper (or of any newspaper, I must add) something better that a brutal public call to the readers to executing independent journalists. The minimal decency demands it.
Certainly, as democratic citizen, I will not stop denouncing this most serious attempt on a
Spanish journalist who from the pages of your diary “20 minutos” is incited, to the Journalist International Federation and to all existing organizations, in order to defend the democracy and the freedom of opinion, as well as the safety of the authors for exercising the above mentioned freedom of opinion.
I wait and demand, as Spanish citizen, your company clarifies to me and to thousands of your readers your attitude in this attempt of extremely brutal magnitude on the freedom and democracy in my country.
